Vicky Twomey-Lee
Vicky is a techie, an advocate for diversity in tech, and a QQI certified Creative Trainer.
Before PyLadies Dublin which she founded in 2013, she was the main organiser for Python Ireland user group for over 10 years, chaired the first four PyCon Irelands, but nowadays she can be found organising and running community tech events around Dublin, game jams and advocating diversity in tech, including PyLadies Dublin.

She got bitten by the Maker advocacy bug after being the first Maker Advocate with Dublin Maker in 2019; she hopes to bring more art and tech together in events she is organises, and get more people into making and sharing zines! She’s now a QQI qualified Creative Trainer and sparking with ideas after completing her NCAD’s Creative Learning course.
